House music lovers, mark your calendars—July 12th is set to be an epic night in Brooklyn! Superior Ingredients’ rooftop will welcome none other than Lee Foss, the Chicago-born DJ and producer who has played a major role in shaping modern house music. With roots in the birthplace of house, Foss has been a driving force behind the scene, co-founding the highly respected labels Hot Creations, Repopulate Mars, South of Saturn, and North of Neptune.

Foss has earned a reputation for delivering standout sets, curating top-tier events, and signing some of the biggest names in the game, including Mau P, John Summit, Max Styler, and Matroda. His career took off after a chance meeting with Jamie Jones in Ibiza, which led to the creation of Hot Creations and their Hot Natured project. Since then, he’s helped shape the house and tech house sound, with his labels consistently topping the charts.

His rise in the industry was meteoric—by 2010, he entered Resident Advisor’s Top 100 DJs poll as the highest new entry, and the following year, he climbed to number 18. This was an impressive feat, considering he had only played his first European show in 2009.

Hot Creations, the label he co-founded with Jamie Jones, is known for its deeper, groove-driven sound with a European touch, playing a crucial role in defining modern house music. Repopulate Mars, which reached #3 on Beatport’s overall label rankings, has become a home for larger tech house acts, blending underground and mainstream elements effortlessly.

Foss didn’t stop there. South of Saturn was created to highlight rising talent, giving emerging artists a platform to share their sound with a broader audience. Meanwhile, North of Neptune, his latest imprint, pays tribute to minimal, deep house, and early 2010s tech house, pushing these timeless sounds forward.

Lee Foss’s sets blend classic house, R&B, 90s hip-hop, 80s electro, and Detroit techno influences into an experience that keeps the energy high from start to finish. A true product of the Chicago scene, his music brings together the best of the underground with a polished, club-ready feel. Having played at legendary venues like fabric in London, Spybar in Chicago, Watergate in Berlin, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, and Paranoia Festival in Milan, Foss knows how to command a dancefloor.
