Michael Canitrot & Guests
Ridgewood, New York

Overview
If you know, you know. And if you don't, this is your introduction. French DJ and producer Michael Canitrot is bringing his world to Holo Yard this Fourth of July, and it is not a night you want to sleep on.
Canitrot's sound is rooted in melodic techno and progressive house, but calling it that almost undersells it. His style behind the decks pulls from house, deep, Afro, Latin, and classic disco influences — eclectic, rhythmic, and always melodic. Sets that move, breathe, and build in a way that feels less like a playlist and more like a full emotional arc.
Born and based in Paris, Canitrot has played clubs across Ibiza, Tokyo, London, Miami, and beyond, stacking the kind of global résumé that only comes from years of doing it right. He is also the mind behind custom sound designs for major luxury houses like Dior, Cartier, Versace, and Prada, and has created soundtracks the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.
An artist operating at the highest levels of music and culture simultaneously.

Then there is the Monumental Tour, which is exactly what it sounds like. Canitrot is the founder of this concept celebrating electronic music inside iconic historic monuments, combining DJ sets with video projections, lighting scenography, and visual effects. He has performed inside Mont-Saint-Michel and the Chateau de Chantilly, and in December 2024 played the reopening of Notre Dame de Paris.
A 2022 broadcast from Château de Chantilly drew over six million viewers on national French television and earned him a personal invitation from the Ministry of Culture to celebrate the French presidency of the European Union at the Palais-Royal in Paris.
This is an artist who has literally made centuries old cathedrals dance. Now he is coming to Holo Yard.
Mark your calendars.
