Lee Foss Has an Ear for a Good Song

Bristol-based DJ and producer Eli Brown has become widely known in the world of house music for his sound that simultaneously channels the vivacity of the nightlife scene and interweaves unexpected nuances that keep audiences guessing. In addition to the fanbase he’s amassed due to his unique sound, Brown’s illustrious career has been bookmarked by a whirlwind of support from some of the industry’s top names, beginning with the iconic Oliver Jones, more commonly known by his onstage moniker, Skream, who shared Brown’s EP ‘Can You Feel It/Acid Test’ to his label Of Unsound Mind in 2016.

Since then, Brown has been behind a prolific amount of work, sharing a long list of singles and EPs and collaborating with the likes of Solardo—for 2019’s “XTC,” among others—Oliver Heldens, Green Velvet—for 2020’s “Unapologetic Raver,” Lee Foss, Anabel Englund, and Calvin Harris. In fact, Brown was even the first to join forces with Harris under house and techno-based side project, Love Regenerator, with the release of the EP ‘Moving’. Adding to his star studded list of collaborators, Brown has also shared remixes for artists including Dom Dolla, Tchami, Malaa, GW Harrison, Orbital, and more, and has been remixed by MK, Miane, Radio Slave, Sosa, and others.

Eli Brown has been selected twice by BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac as the “Hottest Record in the World,” and has also garnered props from artists like Alan Fitzpatrick, who has shared Brown’s tracks on his labels We Are The Brave and Defected Records. This support and the sound he’s cultivated have led him to performances at some of dance music’s top venues, like London’s fabric, Ibiza’s Eden, and Miami’s Treehouse. He’s also been invited to play sets at festivals like Exit Festival, HARD Summer Music Festival, and Creamfields South, in addition to being a regular booking at Insomniac Events’ popular Factory 93 series.

Then there’s the Do LaB, one of the most unique and beloved spaces at Coachella. Run by the creative Do LaB collective, this stage is famous for its interactive art installations, spontaneous surprise sets, and a lineup that includes house, bass, techno, and experimental sounds. Unlike the festival’s bigger stages, Do LaB thrives on spontaneity, often bringing out secret guests and creating an atmosphere that feels more like a community gathering than a traditional festival set.
