Gabriel & Dresden’s Unorthodox Outlook on Songwriting

For the past 16 years, the renowned duo, Josh Gabriel & Dave Dresden, have made their mark in the music industry, crafting iconic hits like "As The Rush Comes," "Tracking Treasure Down," and "Beautiful Things." They are also revered for their remix of 

's "No One On Earth," widely regarded as a timeless trance classic.

Their prowess extends to DJing, evident in their three BBC Radio 1 Essential Mixes and two IDMA Awards for Best American DJ. Their track "Only Road," remixed by Cosmic Gates and released on Anjunabeats, Coldharbour Recordings, and Armada Music, peaked at #2 in the Trance Main Floor category on Beatport.

Tracking Treasure Down

Known for their performances at the Group Therapy Weekender and touring with Anjunabeats, they are also gearing up for their 20th appearance at Groove Cruise in 2024. Amid the global shutdown in 2020, the duo launched their Twitch channel, "Club Quarantine," aiming to foster community and showcase emerging talent through music. They have since hosted 400 live streams and recently celebrated the channel's third anniversary.

Since Gabriel's heart attack in June 2022, their first show back with Group Therapy Weekender at The Meadow Stage marks a special moment for the duo to be able to play a show together again. While they cannot promise that Gabriel will be coming back to touring full time, it is a great starting point to have them back together on stage.
