Keinemusik Drop a Mesmerizing Set Aboard the Mayan Warrior at Burning Man

Keinemusik is a group made up of five Berlin-based DJs, producers, and artists – Rampa, &ME, Adam Port, Monja, and Reznik. What does “keine musik” mean? Well, it directly translates to “no music” in German. Interesting choice to say the least.

The origin story of the group starts with Rampa and &ME’s first meeting at a recording studio in Kreuzberg where &ME was an intern. They hit it off and began meeting regularly to work on music. Rampa already knew two of the other members who would eventually make up the collective – Adam Port and Reznik. It was Rampa’s idea to form a collective. Keinemusk came to fruition in 2009 when Reznik relocated to Berlin. Shortly thereafter, they met Monja, who was bartending at the club they had a residency at. They brought her on as their creative director/designer of sorts as she is a visual artist. They formed this powerful group and the rest is history.

At the center of the collective is their record label. Their mission statement is “The spirit to find your own agenda and let nobody get in the way. The spirit of refining House and Techno off the beaten path.”

Fashion is an essential pillar of the Keinemusik brand. The group has been making merch since its conception. Just a few years after getting together, the group landed a collaboration with Nike. The group worked with Nike on their release of the Nike Air Pegasus ’89 “Berlin,” a tribute to the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. They’ve had several other notable fashion collaborations throughout the years including working with Converse and designer Native Teenage.

The group is still actively releasing music and running the festival circuit worldwide. It doesn’t seem like they’re planning on slowing down any time soon.

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, commonly known as

Over the years, Sahara has expanded to accommodate growing crowds. For those who prefer a more intimate, underground club feel, head to the Yuma Tent. Known for its sleek, low-lit atmosphere, Yuma offers a more curated experience, with deep house, techno, and minimal sounds taking center stage.

Beyond these two powerhouses, electronic music is spread across other key stages. The Mojave and Gobi Tents frequently feature electronic acts, blending them with live performers and crossover artists pushing the boundaries of genre. The Quasar Stage was introduced in 2024 as an outdoor venue specifically designed for extended DJ sets, allowing artists to create deeper, more immersive sonic journeys. Then there’s the Do LaB, one of the most unique and beloved spaces at Coachella. Run by the creative Do LaB collective, this stage is famous for its interactive art installations, spontaneous surprise sets, and a lineup that includes house, bass, techno, and experimental sounds. Unlike the festival’s bigger stages, Do LaB thrives on spontaneity, often bringing out secret guests and creating an atmosphere that feels more like a community gathering than a traditional festival set. With these diverse electronic spaces, Coachella continues to be a mecca for dance music fans, offering something for every taste, from the biggest EDM acts to the deepest underground selectors.
