12 French House and Techno Artists You Should Know

The Most Valuable Lesson Oden & Fatzo Learned as Producers

Making A Hit: Oden & Fatzo's 'Lauren'

5 Oden & Fatzo Tracks You Should Know

Oden & Fatzo are a French electronic duo whose live performances and studio work have brought them from the Paris underground to major stages around the world. Their music pulls from house, UK garage, uptempo minimal, funk, jazz, and hip hop, creating a sound that feels equally suited to packed clubs and large festival crowds. Their live format remains a major part of the project, combining electronic production with real instrumentation and musicianship.

A major turning point arrived with their house rework of Men I Trust’s “Lauren,” which has surpassed 80 million streams on Spotify. Their audience grew further after their 2022 Boiler Room performance at FLY Open Air, which introduced their live show to listeners far beyond France. In 2023, they continued that momentum with “Lady Love” featuring Camden Cox on Defected Records. The track went on to collect more than 31 million Spotify streams and began a close relationship with the label.

Their 2024 run included a remix of David Guetta and Kungs’ “All Night Long,” alongside appearances at Cercle Festival, EDC Las Vegas, Electric Forest, Wembley Arena, and other major events. That same year, Oden & Fatzo teamed up with Poppy Baskcomb for “Tell Me What You Want,” which reached more than 17 million streams within six months and helped bring the duo to a peak of 3.5 million monthly Spotify listeners.

Beyond touring, Oden & Fatzo have continued developing their music with Defected, spending extended time in the studio working with live instruments, musicians, and collaborators. Their catalog reflects the wide range of influences that brought the project together in the first place, while their performances keep the spontaneity and musicianship of a live band at the center.

From “Lauren” and “Lady Love” to festival stages across Europe and the United States, Oden & Fatzo have grown into one of France’s most recognizable house exports, without losing the playful, funk fueled character that first set their music apart.
