Since 2008 Paul Thomas has been raising the bar for dance music around the world. For nearly 15 years his release output has been consistent, frequent and always impressive. Looking back across his catalog will show productions on Anjunadeep, Toolroom, Spinnin’, and UV where he also serves as co-owner and head A&R.

Thomas’s remixes tell a similar story as he has lended his talented ear to some of the most legendary producers in dance music including Underworld, Josh Wink, D Ramirez, Mark Knight, Sebastien Leger and deadmau5.

The wide variety of artists Thomas has remixed and the variety of labels that have hosted his music speaks to the eclectic and exciting nature of his sound. There are notes of underground progressive intertwined with influence from deep trance, but nothing is off limits.

What’s important is the unending applications of melodies and harmonies that make for moments on the dancefloor that alternate between reflection and euphoria. There’s no way to tell where you’re going during a Paul Thomas set, and when it’s over there’s no way to remember how you got there.

Renowned DJs and producers from all over the world including Sasha, Pete Tong, Dubfire and even Swedish House Mafia’s Steve Angello are playing Thomas’s music in front of their own massive audiences, ensuring his relevance for years to come. Not to mention Thomas is also a frequent flyer on the tastemaking station, BBC Radio 1.

With so many notable credits to his name it’s only natural he would be in demand for DJ sets all over the world. For nearly as long as he’s been producing, the London-based artist has visited the UK, Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, USA, South America, and Asia.

After 15 years, Thomas is still going strong, and there is no reason why he wouldn’t last at least another 15.
