Overview
SAM WOLFE stands as techno's most rapidly ascending star. Hailing from Atlanta, WOLFE's sound is an electrifying fusion of aggressive, bold, and shadowy energy, making him the talk of techno enthusiasts everywhere.
In 2020, WOLFE made a striking debut with his EP, 'Triangulum,' which swiftly clinched the #1 spot on Beatport's overall release charts. This impressive start didn't go unnoticed. The Spanish production titans and Reload Records founders, The YellowHeads, quickly partnered with WOLFE, leading to the collaborative track "Hippodrome." This piece not only rose to Beatport's #4 spot on Techno Hype and #16 on Techno World Top-100 but also won the endorsement of techno legend, UMEK, among others.
Following this, WOLFE's "Graveyard March" EP, released under Christian Smith's Tronic, became his second Beatport #1 overall release. It earned accolades from the likes of Bart Skils, Joseph Capriati, Richie Hawtin, Marco Carola, Steve Lawler, Monika Kruse, Oliver Huntemann, Tocadisco, and Claude VonStroke. Furthermore, WOLFE's sound managed to enthrall listeners beyond techno, with trance and progressive house icons such as Markus Schulz, Armin van Buuren, Tiësto, Ben Gold, Genix, and Paul Thomas featuring his tracks.
2021 saw WOLFE's momentum continue. He topped the charts with his "7AM" EP on T-Minus Records, followed by notable releases such as "The Gorge" on Sasha Carassi's Phobiq, "Adrenaline Machine" EP on Oliver Huntemann's Senso Sounds, and "Reservoir" on Nora En Pure's Purified Records. The standout was undoubtedly "Prison Break" EP, accentuated by Andrea Garcia's haunting vocals, which set streaming and dance floor records, particularly in Germany.
2022 was monumental. WOLFE graced 32 prestigious stages worldwide, including Seismic Dance Event, NOVA Toronto, Halcyon San Francisco, LiveNation's The Roxy Atlanta, and Miami's The Groove Cruise. He shared these platforms with esteemed artists like Deborah De Luca, Layton Giordani, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Boris Brejcha, and Charles D.
Ushering in 2023, WOLFE released the “Out of Phase” EP, a dance floor sensation featuring Anadi and Gāuri. He's also headlining a CRSSD Spring Festival after-party, marking his 14th show of the year.
