Formed in 2003, WhoMadeWho is a wildly inventive pop group based out of Copenhagen, Denmark. The trio includes singer and bassist, Tomas Hoffding, guitarist, Jeppe Kjellberg, and drummer, Tomas Barford. Since their start years ago, WhoMadeWho have proved themselves to be an ultimate underground ensemble. Showcasing their expansive skills and passions in empathy, melody and songwriting has awarded them the place they hold today. WhoMadeWho have become famous for their estimable catalog, consistent professionalism, and outstanding shows around the world. From Roskilde to Burning Man, this group has produced eight albums and an abundance of singles, remixes, and EPs on labels like Life & Death. Barford’s talent in electronic music perfectly couples with Høffding and Kjellberg’s backgrounds in jazz and rock to create a unique sound that is completely electrifying. Developing a sensory and extraordinary style that is emotional, alluring and gratifying is made possible with this group’s genius in combining various influences.

With the help of the German label, Gomma Records, the band released a plethora of singles, including “Out the Door” and “Space to Rent.” That outpour of creativity resulted in their debut album, 

 (2005). Then began the constant cascade of album productions. The trio’s second album, 

, was issued in 2009. Their third album, 

 in 2018. Their latest creations in this newest decade so far include 

Performing live around the globe has led the group to play alongside noncomforming, contemporary artists, such as Daft Punk and LCD Soundsystem. Remarkably, WhoMadeWho earned fans in 2007 when they stepped in for delayed artists, Klaxons, at the Benicàssim Festival. Another standout event includes their performance at the Festival of Sanremo with Arisa in 2014. They all paid tribute to Franco Battiato with the song "Cuccurucucu.” Then more recently in February of 2021, WhoMadeWho played live in Egypt at the ancient temples of Abu Simbel.
