Bedouin present Saga Closing Party
Event Recommendation
Bedouin present Saga Closing Party at Pacha Ibiza on Wednesday, October 4, 2023. From the heart of Brooklyn to the soul of Ibiza, Bedouin, the dynamic duo of Rami Abousabe and Tamer Malki, have been crafting a musical narrative that's as enchanting as the tales of old Bedouin tribes. Their Middle Eastern heritage, combined with their Western upbringing and global escapades, has birthed a unique sound that's hypnotic and yet completely exhilarating. Deep, desert house merged with shamanic beats, creating a sonic landscape that's one of its kind. For the closing party, from midnight until 6am, Pacha Ibiza will be transformed into a Middle Eastern-inspired wonderland. Imagine the scent of aromatic incense wafting through the air, dimmed lights casting a soft glow on flowing drapes and lush velvet curtains, and evocative dancers moving to the ethereal rhythms of the desert. Pacha have certainly got this one right. It's a setting that promises to heighten all your senses, making for an unforgettable Ibiza experience. Joining Bedouin on this auditory adventure are the electrifying WhoMadeWho trio and the avant-garde Cirque Du Soleil co-founder, Guy Laliberté. Each artist, with their unique flair, promises to add a layer of depth to the night's musical tapestry. Since its inception in 2017, Saga has grown from strength to strength, amassing a cult following and earning accolades such as the DJ Awards title for Best Night on Ibiza in 2019. Their move to Pacha Ibiza, the island's original superclub, has only amplified the magic. With its rich history and iconic red cherries, Pacha embodies the very essence of Ibiza, making it the perfect backdrop for this closing fiesta. For those who've been a part of the Saga journey since its early days at Heart Ibiza (now Club Chinois), this night promises to be a nostalgic trip down memory lane. And for the uninitiated, it's an opportunity to experience the magic that's had the island buzzing for years. As the night unfolds, expect to be taken on a journey through time and space, with each track telling a tale of love, loss, hope, and rebirth. It's a narrative that's as old as time, yet as fresh as the morning dew. Let's dance, laugh, love, and lose ourselves in the music. After all, isn't that what Ibiza is all about? The lineup Bedouin have had a strong presence at Burning Man since 2012, and have played some of the world's biggest festival stages, including Coachella and Tomorrowland. Throughout the years, they have played in multiple venues across the White Isle and also secured a residency in Las Vegas - something practically unheard of for an underground act. They have chosen a musical approach that is distinctive and experimental - some have even said it’s a musical genre of its own and has been well received at Pacha week in, week out. WhoMadeWho is a concept by Tomas Høffding, Tomas Barfod, and Jeppe Kjellberg, a trio of musical talents who have morphed from a rock-indie band into techno-loving artists, now more likely to be seen alongside acts such as Tale of Us, LCD Soundsystem, and Soulwax. For the closing party, you’ll be treated to a hybrid set, perfectly mixing electronic and live elements. Guy Laliberté, a name synonymous with creativity and innovation, will bring his distinctive touch to the decks. Having co-founded Cirque Du Soleil, Laliberté knows a thing or two about captivating an audience, and his set is sure to be a masterclass in musical storytelling. His collection of music is second to none, and Bedouin’s Saga has become a second home to him, as he was co-owner of Heart and handpicked the duo for their residency from 2017-2019.
