Mood Child is more than just a label—it's a reflection of the raw, groove-driven energy that its co-founders, Manda Moor and Sirus Hood, bring to the global house music scene. Since launching the project, they've created something that feels personal yet universal, with a focus on music that connects on the dance floor and lasts well beyond the club.

The label came onto the scene with real intent, and it didn’t take long for people to notice. Within just eight months of their first release, Mood Child was charting as the #1 trending tech house label on Beatport’s hype charts and hitting the #2 spot overall for tech house. The momentum wasn’t based on hype alone—it was backed by solid, genre-pushing releases that DJs across the world started playing out in clubs, festivals, and late-night afters. Tracks like the Homo Sapiens EP and Peligro—a collaboration between Manda Moor and Trangaz—have become favorites in the crates of selectors who value music that holds up in high-pressure moments.

The label’s reach goes beyond just music. Mood Child events have been hosted in some of the most recognized venues in electronic music, including Hï Ibiza, Café Mambo, and global parties like elrow, where they hosted a full stage takeover. These aren’t one-note parties—they’re known for their attention to detail, thoughtful curation, and the sense that you’re in the right place at the right time. From Ibiza sunsets to warehouse nights, Mood Child keeps the focus on community, sound, and feeling.

This Is Mood Child

Their Mood Edits series on Bandcamp is another example of the label’s off-the-grid mentality. The concept is simple: exclusive edits available for one month only before being replaced. No streaming, no algorithm push—just direct-to-listener music that respects the digger’s culture. It’s a nod to the days when finding a rare cut actually meant something, and it’s been supported by names like The Martinez Brothers and Loco Dice for good reason.

Mood Child isn’t chasing trends or trying to fit into someone else's blueprint. It’s a platform that lets the music speak—built by artists who know the difference between following the rules and setting your own pace. Whether you're catching Manda Moor’s sunrise set, locking into one of Sirus Hood’s raw grooves, or finding a new favorite in one of their limited releases, you’ll understand the appeal. Mood Child is for people who are deep in the music, and they’ve made that clear since day one.
