Manda Moor, a Danish-Filipino talent, has been on a remarkable upward trajectory since her debut in 2020. Known for her vibrant sets at Jamie Jones' Paradise parties and her impactful releases on Hot Creations, Moor has quickly become a force to be reckoned with.

Sirus Hood, another key player in this duo, brings his own flair to the table. With notable releases on Amine Edge & Dance's label 'Cuff', Hood's style complements Moor's, creating a synergy that is both rare and captivating. His ability to intertwine different musical elements has made him a sought-after name in the industry.

Mood Child, the brainchild of Moor and Hood, is more than just a brand. It's a community-focused platform that blends music, art, and technology. Mood Child has already made significant waves in the dance music world, with successful events at top venues like Hï Ibiza and Café Mambo. Their presence in Ibiza, supporting The Martinez Brothers, has solidified their status as influencers in the scene. The label's first release, the 'Homo Sapiens' EP, exemplified their vision, combining primal energy with sophisticated production. Following this, the 'Peligro' EP, a collaboration between Moor and Trangaz, showcased the label's commitment to diverse and high-quality music.

Remember last year when we hosted a Tamango Records party with the Italian star Yaya for his New York debut, and he brought out Manda Moor and Luuk Van Dijk? Well, now we're doing a switcheroo! Yaya will be joining the Mood Child party!

Yaya has been a respectable figure in the music industry for many years. His label, Tamango Records, a leading name in the minimal/deep tech genre on Beatport, showcased its unique Afro-Latin sound at the event. Established in 2016, the label features music from artists like Luuk Van Dijk, Loco Dice, and Manda Moor, reflecting Yaya's African-rooted, danceable sound. Discovered by Loco Dice in Ibiza, Yaya has made his mark on the global stage with performances at the BPM Festival and venues in Miami and Chicago.

Superior Ingredients, Brooklyn's premier outdoor house music venue, is set to host the Mood Child show, promising an unforgettable experience. With its glass, retractable roof, this venue is a marvel year-round, offering stunning views of the Manhattan skyline. The venue's transformation has made it not only visually striking, with its massive disco ball and dynamic lighting, but also intimately inviting and dance floor friendly.
