Solid Grooves

Solid Grooves, a world-renowned event and record label, was founded in 2015 by Michael Bibi, PAWSA, and other members of their tight-knit crew. It allowed them to have a platform to perform and release on as they all started to find ever-growing success and a loyal following within the industry. The brand, and the artists associated with it, quickly made a name for itself through its fresh approach to house and techno, with a sound deeply rooted in the underground scene.

The events started as a London-based series, playing small venue rooftops, and small capacity warehouses that garnered a dedicated following due to its raw, unfiltered vibe and a focus on high-quality music. Solid Grooves' success in London soon propelled them to take their unique sound and party experience to Ibiza, where they have become one of the island's most beloved and closely followed brands.

Their Ibiza debut came in 2016, Solid Grooves' parties stood out for their no-frills approach, emphasizing the music and the experience rather than flashy production. This philosophy resonated with locals and tourists seeking an alternative, lower-cost event, in comparison to the larger and more commercial offerings on the island.

Over the years, Solid Grooves has hosted residencies at some of Ibiza's most iconic venues, including Privilege’s Vista Club and DC10, as well as their fabled villa after-parties. These events became known for their electric atmosphere, drawing a dedicated crowd of partygoers and featuring performances from a rotating roster of top-tier underground DJs and producers.

The brand’s reputation continued to grow, solidifying its place as a staple of the Ibiza summer season. Solid Grooves became synonymous with high-energy, bass-driven house and techno and created a close-knit community of artists and ‘Groovers’ who shared a passion for the underground music scene.

In addition to their Ibiza events, Solid Grooves expanded globally building a strong presence in the international electronic music scene, hosting parties in London, Miami, Madrid, and Venice, as well as stages at Barcelona Off week.

Their label, Solid Grooves Records has had a string of number 1 releases by the likes of wAFF, Sidney Charles, and Dennis Cruz, and also became a platform for showcasing new talent. The label is now renowned for releasing in-demand, cutting-edge music that stays true to its underground roots.

Solid Grooves is recognized as one of the leading underground brands in Ibiza, its return to DC10, with its ‘Solid Grooves Casino Motel’ theme created in 2023 remains one of the busiest events in the party calendar.
