Event Recommendation
Homegrown party ANTS has been a solid player in the weekend lineup since its conception in 2013 and has only gotten stronger year after year. It's a favorite with the worker crowd as well as the holidaymakers on the White Isle, so expect an electric atmosphere as the sun sets over Playa d’en Bossa’s number one open-air venue.
We suggest getting there early, as the party starts poolside by the more intimate DJ booth in the back of the venue before moving over to the main stage later in the evening. They know how to put on a show at Ushuaïa; incredible visuals, a pumping sound system and a crowd that is there for just one thing - to be part of the colony.
The party starts at 3 pm and goes until midnight and the lineup for Saturday June, 18 is made up of Andrea Oliva, Enzo Siragusa, Jackmaster, Franky Wah, Wheats, and Raúl Rodríguez. With these names, you’ll be treated to a master class of tech house music from beginning to end.
And if you’re not quite done when the party's over? Just pop across the road to superclub Hï Ibiza to carry on the rave!
Swiss-born Andrea Oliva taught himself to DJ at 13 years of age and built his career organically since then, first getting booked for some of Switzerland's best clubs and then taking on Ibiza and the rest of the world. Oliva has been a prominent name in the ANTS lineups since the party’s conception in 2013 and has played all over the island, cementing himself as an artist that curates outstanding underground sets and controls a crowd like no other.
Londoner Enzo Siragusa is the man behind infamous party brand Fuse and grew up as a teen in the 90s listening to jungle and drum and bass before finding his love for techno and house and blurring the lines between them to create his signature sound.
Jack Revill aka Jackmaster is a Glaswegian DJ who is famous for expertly mixing genres and surprising crowds with his musical selections. In 2016 he was voted number two in the Resident Advisor Top 100 DJ Poll.
Franky Wah (aka Luke Storrs) learned how to DJ and produce as a teen and set up his own studio at his home in Doncaster. His ability to seamlessly blend house, melodic techno, and breaks keeps the dance floor full.
Influenced by his father, British DJ Wheats started playing house music at the age of 14. He’s played alongside artists such as Kerri Chandler, Richy Ahmed, Youssef, Sidney Charles, and Sam Divine and has toured around the UK, Europe, and America for brands such as Paradise, Solid Grooves, elrow, Kaluki, and Knee Deep In Sound.
As a resident DJ of Ushuaïa Ibiza, Raúl Rodríguez certainly knows what the crowd wants and chooses his musical selections carefully based on the vibe presented to him. His unique sound mixes heavy beats with sensual vocals and is guaranteed to keep you dancing throughout his entire set.
