Ape Drums touches down in Brooklyn for a night that’ll stretch from raw Afro-tech to high-energy dancehall. On Saturday, September 27, The Room at Superior Ingredients becomes the pulse of the city as the Major Lazer member and Houston-born producer brings his global sound to the rooftop.

From the early days dissecting cassette tapes in Texas to playing massive shows with RL Grime and joining Major Lazer in 2019, Ape Drums has followed rhythm and instinct through every chapter of his career. He’s played iconic stages across the globe—from Ultra and Coachella to rowdy dancefloors in South America and Europe—and now he’s sharpening his focus on darker, stripped-back sounds that still hit hard.

Blending Afro-house, reggaeton, Caribbean percussion, and dancefloor grit, his sets move. Whether in front of tens of thousands or an intimate crowd, Ape Drums knows how to read the room and let the music speak.
