Overview
Grammy-award-winning producer CID takes over the roof of Superior Ingredients for a hometown Sunday Funday throwdown on April 3. The Queens-born artist has a mile-long resume that includes collaborations with Kaskade, Diplo, Westend, Dombresky, and BYOR. His work with Cedric Gervais on their remix of Lana Del Rey's "Summertime Sadness" earned him a GRAMMY in 2014. And the list of labels he's released on is diverse as his musical background, including Tiesto's Musical Freedom, Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars, Sonny Fodera's Solotoko, and of course, his imprint Night Service Only.
CID is always in a state of transformation and has built his career on staying in his lane. His music is forward, funky, and dancefloor-filling, yet he always manages to craft sounds that defy genre. His 90's inspired collab with Westend "Jumpin" was one of the songs of the summer in 2021. His recent release "Duro" has heated up clubs worldwide in sets by everyone from Gorgon City and John Summit to Anna Lunoe and Tiesto.
As a DJ, his skills are unsurpassed. And it's no surprise, as that's what initially drew him into a career in music. He's been digging in crates at New York record stores since he was 14. The accomplishes selector has performed at EDC Vegas, Lollapalooza, Tomorrowland, elrow, and Ultra .
