Colyn B2B Sainte Vie
Brooklyn, New York

Overview
Saturday, May 3rd marks a rare meeting between two of the most sought-after live performers in melodic electronic music: Colyn and Sainte Vie. Slated for a set at 99 Scott in Brooklyn, this extended format promises deep immersion—from atmospheric introspection to driving late-night energy.
Colyn, a Dutch producer with a refined ear for layered storytelling, creates music that pulls from nostalgia without sounding retro. Known for turning introspection into dancefloor momentum, his breakout came in when Tale of Us picked up “Amor” and released it on their Afterlife label. That track—later featured in the Tomorrowland Aftermovie—garnered support from Mind Against, Fideles, Mathame, Kevin de Vries, and Joris Voorn, who named it a personal favorite.
His music has been in full rotation from Solomun, Adriatique, Damian Lazarus, Stephan Bodzin, and ARTBAT. With hypnotic builds and emotional weight, Colyn’s productions blur the line between club track and cinematic score.
Colyn has already appeared at Ultra Buenos Aires, Caprices Festival in Switzerland, and performed alongside DJ Harvey, WhoMadeWho, and A-Trak at Thrill City in Los Angeles. His run through Tulum, Tokyo, Paris, and Amsterdam this past winter reflects a broad and dedicated global audience.
Born Pablo Piña Hernandez in Mexico and now based in New York, Sainte Vie merges analog synthesis with live instrumentation to produce emotionally layered, club-focused compositions. As the founder of Akumandra, his releases and events explore slow-burning melodic progressions often delivered through live hardware setups.
His performances often include custom audio-visual presentations, turning his sets into fully immersive sessions. He has released standout tracks across respected imprints and carved a reputation for longform, multi-hour journeys built around detail and restraint.
Sainte Vie has already appeared at The BPM Festival in Costa Rica, celebrated Akumandra’s 10-Year Anniversary at Knockdown Center, and played at Sonic Jungle Festival in Mexico City and Flash DC. Earlier dates include shows at Avant Gardner, Factory Town in Miami, and Stereo in Montreal.
Set on the border of East Williamsburg and Bushwick, 99 Scott is one of the few spaces in New York that feels truly built for nights like this. The venue’s open-plan layout, 20-foot ceilings, and industrial bones create the kind of atmosphere where longform sets can fully unfold. Whether it's the dimly lit main room or the courtyard beyond the garage doors, the space adjusts with the music—expansive when it needs to breathe, intimate when it locks in.
99 Scott is the kind of venue that doesn’t interrupt that story, it hosts it. Join us for a night like no other!
