Brooklyn gets its first taste of Omar+ when the fast-rising UK artist makes his debut at Superior Ingredients Roof on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Known for weaving silky R&B vocals into house and UKG-inspired productions, Omar+ has carved out a fresh space on dance floors. Raised just north of London and deeply influenced by nights spent at clubs like fabric and Phonox, his sound merges classic R&B touchstones — think Brandy and SWV — with modern influences such as PARTYNEXTDOOR and Drake. His Punjabi and Gujarati roots and formative years in Mumbai add a rhythmic pulse informed by instruments like the tabla and the vibrant festival scenes he grew up around.

Omar+ first caught attention with tracks like “Lights,” “AfterParty” (with GEE LEE), and “Pretty Girls,” which have now crossed 2 million streams. His DIY London house party series, Planet Plus, became a cult favorite, while collaborations with UKG heavyweight Silva Bumpa expanded his reach across Europe’s underground. Outside the studio, he’s modeled for JD Sports and even hit the runway at London Fashion Week 2023, adding a fashion edge to his artistry. With support from tastemakers like Lancey Foux and Josh Baker, and fresh material slated for 2025, this Brooklyn debut promises to feel both intimate and electric under the city skyline.
