Resurrection (Act I)

The four-track EP offers a rich and immersive listening experience, with the duo skillfully balancing light and dark elements, combining classical sophistication with a sense of modern intensity. Originally purchased by the Polish Army Veterans of America in 1948 and initially used as a Polish-American community center, the venue transitioned into a rock music hub in 1978. It quickly became a hotspot for punk and new wave bands, hosting iconic acts such as the B-52s, Talking Heads, and the Ramones.

Over the years, Irving Plaza has undergone several transformations, including a brief period in 2007 when it was rebranded as the Fillmore New York under Live Nation’s management. However, due to popular demand, its original name was restored in 2010. The venue has since continued to host unforgettable performances, including a surprise show by Paul McCartney in 2015. With such a storied history, it’s fitting that Giolì & Assia’s performance will add to the venue's rich legacy of showcasing top-tier musical talent.
