South African producer and DJ Kyle Watson brings his deep rooted house sound to The Roof at Superior Ingredients on Sunday, September 27 for an end of summer session in Brooklyn.

Known for releases on Dirtybird, Higher Ground, Ultra, Atlantic, and REALM, Watson has spent more than a decade building a reputation as one of house music’s most reliable names. His catalog moves from stripped back late night rollers to bass heavy club records, earning support from artists across the scene while landing him on festival stages including Electric Forest, CRSSD, Shambhala, Ultra South Africa, and Dirtybird Campout.

Growing up in Johannesburg, Watson developed his musical background through piano before turning toward production and DJing. He began his career in 2007 with his first release and was later nominated for Best Producer and Best Male DJ at the 2017 Dance Music Awards South Africa. In 2018, he released his debut album Into The Morning, a project that showcased a wider range of sounds and helped introduce his music to a larger international audience.

Since then, he has launched Box of Cats alongside Wongo and become known for records like “My Level,” “Major Games,” “Landmine,” and “The Ratchet Express.”

Now, the South African icon heads to Williamsburg for a special Sunday show on The Roof at Superior Ingredients as summer comes to a close.
