Patrick Topping Presents Trick Open-Air Takeover

Overview
On June 12, 2026, Patrick Topping takes over The Ruins for a full Trick label takeover, bringing his widely respected imprint into an Open-Air setting designed for a full night on the dancefloor. Joining him are Italian DJ Draxx b2b Irish producer Fallon, Australian talent Airwolf Paradise, and CatLadyHi.

Hailing from Newcastle, England, Topping has spent over a decade establishing himself at the forefront of house and techno. He has built a strong presence on the island of Ibiza, with successful Trick residency seasons at DC-10 and a multi year run at Hï Ibiza. Since breaking through in 2013 with releases on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations and Hottrax, he has become a regular at the world’s leading festivals and clubs, including Tomorrowland, Coachella, Awakenings, Ultra, and more.
In 2019, Topping launched Trick, a label born out of a desire to release a broader range of sounds while creating a platform for emerging talent. What started as an outlet for his own productions has grown into one of the most recognized brands in the underground, now surpassing 125 releases and helping guide multiple records to Platinum and Silver certification. The label has introduced and supported a new generation of artists, including Max Styler, Pegassi, Edd, and more.
Beyond the label, Trick has evolved into a global event series. From early parties in Newcastle to large scale festivals in Tenerife, Newcastle, and Budapest, the brand has expanded across major venues and festivals worldwide. It has hosted stages and takeovers at Creamfields, The Warehouse Project, Drumsheds, EDC Orlando, PICA Melbourne, and The Concourse Project in Austin, while its DC10 Ibiza residency marked a key moment in bringing the label back to one of the club’s most important stages.

His breakout track “Don’t Hurt Me Baby” was named BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record and went on to reach #1 on the UK Club Chart, earning widespread radio support across BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, and Diplo’s Revolution. Following the release, Airwolf Paradise made his debut at Patrick Topping’s Trick party at DC10 Ibiza, sharing lineups with names like Ben Hemsley, Ewan McVicar, and Skream.
Also on the bill is Italian producer and DJ Draxx, an artist who has continued building momentum through a run of club focused releases and growing support across the house scene. His productions have earned backing from names including John Summit, Cloonee, Hugel, Gordo, Solardo, Lee Foss, and Wade, while landing on labels such as Hellbent, Insomniac, Sola, Nervous, and Moon Harbour.

In recent years, Draxx has also collaborated with artists including Hugel, Malone, and Cvmpanile, while continuing to expand his presence through international touring and a steady run of new releases.
Going back-to-back with Draxx is Irish producer Fallon, an artist known for turning sample driven ideas into club focused records that have gained strong support across the house scene. His breakout releases earned millions of streams and backing from artists including Fisher, Chris Lake, and Roger Sanchez, helping establish him as one of Ireland’s rising names in dance music.
With support across BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, and other major stations, Fallon has continued building momentum through a steady run of releases and a sound built for the dancefloor. To kick things off for the party we have local talent, CatLadyHi joining the Gray Area decks.
As a producer, Topping has released over 100 tracks and remixes, including standout records like “Be Sharp Say Nowt,” which achieved UK Silver certification, as well as collaborations with artists such as Green Velvet and Kevin Saunderson. His catalog reflects influences from Chicago house and Detroit techno, balancing club functionality with personality, while his continued run of releases into 2026 shows a renewed focus on direct, dancefloor ready material.
Known for sets that move fluidly across house, tech house, and techno, Topping brings that same range to every performance. With The Ruins Open Air as the backdrop, June 12 is set to deliver a full label experience, bringing together the sound, artists, and energy that have defined Trick into one open air session.
