Tale Of Us present Afterlife with Agents Of Time

Thursdays. Ibiza. Techno. That magical trifecta returns and the anticipation builds as Tale Of Us present Afterlife at Hï Ibiza on Thursday, August 24. Are you ready for a journey like no other? In the heart of Ibiza's thumping nightlife, Afterlife has become synonymous with ethereal techno experiences. Since its inception in 2016, this weekly phenomenon has drawn ravers from across the globe, and this Thursday promises to be no exception. From 11:30pm The Theatre at Hī Ibiza awaits with Tale Of Us, who will close the night in their trademark emotive style, unraveling a techno odyssey that has gained an incredible amount of traction over the years. Joining them are Maceo Plex and Fideles. In the Club Room, the night will shift to a tougher, faster, Berlin-style techno. Agents Of Time will command the space, accompanied by Kevin de Vries and Ubbah. Don't overlook the Wild Corner, where Citizen Kain will hold court, transforming the iconic unisex bathrooms-cross-dancefloor into a throbbing hub of energy. It's part of the Afterlife experience that has to be felt to be believed. What sets Afterlife apart isn't just the incredible lineup. It's the journey. The jaw-dropping visual art installations, the iconic levitating Afterlife insignia, and the state-of-the-art production, all combine into an immersive spectacle that resonates deeply with party-goers across the globe. The lineup: Tale of Us, an Italian music production and DJ duo consisting of Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri, are based in Berlin and known for their unique blend of electronic music. After meeting in Milan and releasing their debut EP in 2011, the pair climbed the ranks to be named one of DJ Mag's top 100 alternative DJs in 2018, and have performed at high-profile events such as Coachella. Maceo Plex began his journey with turntables at the young age of fifteen. His initial explorations into techno, house, and electro resonated with the burgeoning rave culture of the '90s, and by 1999, he was crafting his own music, an eclectic blend that spanned genres from funky house with influences of the 80s and electro to more experimental IDM and minimal sounds, tailored to the alias he chose to use at the time. His talent has been showcased on labels such as Treibstoff, Crosstown Rebels, Hot Waves, and more, with artists like Tale Of Us, Martin Dawson, and DJ T affirming his prowess as a mixer. Italians Daniele Aprile & Mario Roberti formed as Fideles in 2010. At the cutting edge of today's techno sound, they have releases on some of the most well-respected labels including Bedrock, Poker Flat, Stil vor Talent and more recently, Afterlife, Innervisions and Exit Strategy. Andrea Di Ceglie and Luigi Tutolo came together to create the two-man act that is Agents of Time. The Italian DJs and producers are well known for their hardware-heavy, spontaneous live showcases where they build tracks intuitively with each other. Their DJ sets expertly blend house and techno and will immerse you in a captivating musical journey. Kevin De Vries, known for his distinctive hybrid techno sound that blends the power of techno with trance's euphoria, has become a mainstay of the Afterlife scene with numerous event appearances and releases on prominent labels and is celebrated for his captivating DJ sets that take listeners on a thrilling journey from cutting-edge sounds to 90s classics. Lucas Uberto, known as Ubbah, emerged from Buenos Aires' underground scene, fueled by his early mastery of the piano and a deep connection to various musical styles, culminating in a passion for electronic music. The dark, techno rhythms that inspired him in 2008 continue to shape his unique sound, marking him as a rising star in the industry. Citizen Kain, hailing from Montpellier, has become a prominent figure in the techno and melodic techno scene, with notable releases on labels such as Afterlife, Stil Vor Talent, and Filth on Acid. A former metal/hardcore guitarist, he transitioned to DJing around 1995 and started producing techno tracks, leading to performances at major festivals like Family Piknik and Fusion Festival.
