Wildchild Opening Party

If you’re looking for a daytime party with a nighttime vibe, then look no further than Wildchild at O Beach. Opening on Thursday May 19th, this San Antonio hot spot will be bouncing with the sounds of house music and US garage, whilst the sun beats down on the party revellers of the White Isle. In previous years Wildchild has been a nocturnal affair, with its parties being hosted at the now-closed Heart and W Ibiza, but since 2021 this brand has put on its daytime dancing shoes for a residency at O Beach. Despite the restrictions in place they had a successful summer in 2021. Now Wildchild has secured a fortnightly residency at the infamous orange-cupped day club, with 11 parties planned over the summer of 2022, every other Thursday. Taking inspiration from the colourful block party culture of New York City, its house and US garage soundtrack is emphasised with an underground beat - a refreshing addition to the weekly lineup. The opening party will kick off at 1pm and run through until 10pm. The opening party lineup is made up of Wildchild and island favourites including Sam Blans, Niels Feijen, YAZZ, Tom Grimes, Santanna, and Grant Collins. Grant Collins has been a resident at O Beach since 2013, but DJing on the island since 2008. Spending his summers in Ibiza and winters in Dubai, Collins certainly knows how to get a crowd going. His island superclub sets include Pacha Ibiza, Es Paradis, Eden, and Sankeys (to name a few). With 18 years DJing experience, Tom Grimes is incredibly versatile, serving up his sets with infectious energy and enthusiasm. His passion for music is obvious and his deep knowledge of amazing tunes shows during his sets. The dance floor will never be empty if Tom is behind the decks. A firm favourite on the White Isle, Santanna (lovingly known as Santanna Oush) is a high-energy DJ, playing many of the island's most sought after slots. From W Ibiza to Pikes to the open-air oasis that is O Beach - you’ll find it hard not to dance alongside her at the opening party. Jordan born Yazan Abu Jarad, AKA YAZZ, is a music producer, DJ, and audio engineer. His knowledge of music creation means that he looks at building a track from every angle. He’ll certainly be cultivating his own groove at one of San Antonio’s favourite day clubs at the Wildchild opening party. Famous for playing some of the biggest parties and festivals around the world, including Paradise, Tomorrowland, elrow, and Cocoon, Niels Feijen will be bringing his unique sound to Wildchild on May 19th. Originally born in Belgium, the Antwerp music scene helped Feijen find his sound and build his career. Representing The Netherlands, DJ and Producer Sam Blans grew up loving music and played the guitar at a young age. His musical style changed as he grew, into Caribbean, Latin, Afro and Urban vibes. His reputation precedes him and to have him at the Wildchild opening party at O Beach is a pure treat. Don’t miss out!
