We are reaching the highest point of the summer season, and all the restaurants, pubs, beach venues, and Ibiza's nightclubs are buzzing this month with plenty of activities and parties.

San Ciriaco Festival | Ibiza Town | Monday, August 8

The week begins commemorating Ibiza's town patron saint, San Ciriaco. It is a practice deeply rooted in the Catholic religion to celebrate culture and Christianity, coinciding with the celebration of the Catalan conquest in 1235, the traditional date when troops invaded the island.

During this festival, Ibiza hosts activities designed for all audiences:

10 am: Concert by jazz band Ciutat d'Eivissa Band followed by a procession to the chapel of Sant Ciriac, a holy mass, and traditional dances.

6:30 pm: Free public afternoon snack (berenada) of typical Ibizan products and paella in Puig des Molins—the world's largest and best preserved Phoenician necropolis— accompanied by music and games.

Midnight: Fireworks display from Ibiza's port to culminate the saints' festival. All the venues around Dalt Vila offer special dinner menus to enjoy the show. You can book your table at Casa MacaLío IbizaRotoMikasa, or Zuma, among many others.
