Mathame Presents NEO

Italian brothers Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli, known as Mathame, bring their immersive NEO residency back to Amnesia Ibiza for four exclusive Fridays this August: August 8, 15, 22, and 29, 2025. Following the success of last year's debut, NEO promises to deliver an even more atmospheric and emotionally charged experience, blending cinematic visuals with raw techno soundscapes.

Drawing inspiration from classical music, nature, and science fiction, Mathame crafts a unique narrative for each performance, considering the context of the venue to shape their set. The duo describes NEO as "a unique experience of connection, almost spiritual," aiming to touch the inner emotions of their audience.

The 2025 edition of NEO features a stellar lineup of guest artists, including Don Diablo, Gordo, Agoria, Dubfire, MistaJam, and Layla Benitez, among others. Each night offers a distinct theme and performance, ensuring that no two events are the same.

Renowned for pioneering the neo-tech sound and exploring the intersections of music, cinema, artificial intelligence, and new media, Mathame has garnered global acclaim over the years, and in 2024, had a mega-successful collaboration with John Summit, as well as a sold-out tour across the United States and Europe.

The duo also released their debut LP, 'MEMO', in 2023- a sonic odyssey that delves into realms beyond our universe, showcasing Mathame's innovative sonic palette of progressive, high-energy electronica.

From the volcanic solitude of Mount Etna to stages worldwide, and despite their 12-year age gap, Matteo and Amedeo share a close bond, nurtured in a home filled with music.

While Matteo delved into hip-hop DJing and filmmaking, Amedeo pursued electronic music production, drawing inspiration from classical music and theatrical scores.

The Mathame project took root during their family's sojourn on Sicily's Mount Etna, where the brothers helped run their family bed and breakfast. Amidst the tranquility of winter, Matteo and Amedeo found solace in music, laying the groundwork for future Mathame hits like "Skywalking" and "Nothing Around Us" released on Tale of Us profound Afterlife imprint.
