Bang Bang Tempe: A New Culinary and Nightlife Gem in Arizona
In the heart of Tempe, Arizona, a new venue is redefining the dining and nightlife experience. Bang Bang, located at 420 S Mill Ave #201, is more than just a sushi restaurant; it's a fusion of exquisite sushi craftsmanship and vibrant nightlife, bringing a slice of club culture to the bustling streets of Tempe.
A Fresh Take on Dining and Entertainment
Bang Bang is not your typical sushi spot. It stands out with its unique blend of culinary art and dynamic nightlife. The venue aims to be a platform for both globally recognized artists and the burgeoning local talent, offering a mix of innovative genres and fresh sounds. This approach not only enriches the local music scene but also ensures a diverse and thrilling experience for its patrons.
Rich Heritage and Ambitious Expansion
Originating from its sister location in San Diego, which opened in June 2013 and later joined the Pyramid Events family in 2021, Bang Bang has a legacy of excellence. The new Tempe venue, formerly the Gordon Biersch Brewery, boasts a larger space, accommodating numerous guests for dining and transforming into a lively nightclub with a substantial capacity for dancers.
Culinary Delights Meets Musical Beats
The menu at Bang Bang features an array of fresh sushi, shareable plates, and warm, flavorful dishes. The culinary journey is complemented by live DJ performances during dinner, seamlessly transitioning the atmosphere from a sophisticated dining experience to an exhilarating nightclub vibe, open from 10 PM to 2 AM on weekends.
Art and Aesthetics: A Feast for the Eyes
Bang Bang's interior is a visual spectacle. The Tokyo-themed subway station entrance sets an intriguing tone, leading into a space adorned with custom-made art and decor. From 90’s anime art on dining tables to nostalgic bathroom walls and lantern-lit ceilings, every detail is meticulously crafted to create a trendy and visually appealing environment.
The venue boasts Arizona's largest disco ball, complemented by high-powered lighting and top-notch Pioneer surround sound, creating an immersive audio-visual experience.
Star-Studded Opening Lineup
Name a better duo than proper house music artists and sushi. We’ll wait. Bang Bang's opening weekend featured Detlef on Friday, December 8th, and Jackmaster on Saturday, December 9th. Both parties were slinging tunes and pushing grooves.
The grand opening continues with ChaseWest all night long on Friday, December 15th, and Lubelski on Saturday, December 16th. Another fueled weekend with some of house music’s most talented artists. A special New Year's Eve celebration with Skream on Sunday, December 31st, promises to be a night for the books.
VIP Experience and Unique Cocktails
The bar at Bang Bang offers a diverse selection of beverages, including sake, beer, wine, and inventive handcrafted cocktails. The signature Japanese teapot cocktails are perfect for sharing, enhancing the communal vibe. The club's VIP area features six exclusive bottle service tables, vintage suede couches, and a private elevator entrance, offering an elevated experience for those seeking luxury and privacy.
Bang Bang in Tempe is not just a venue; it's a vibrant mosaic of culinary art, music, and visual aesthetics, promising to be a cornerstone of Tempe's cultural and nightlife scene.
