Not to worry, no horses were harmed in the making of this four-member DJ group. Horse Meat Disco are some of the UK’s finest disco operators who got together at a New Year’s Eve Party in 2003 at The Eagle in London’s Vauxhall and never looked back. This DJ collective of Luke Howard, Severino Panzetta, James Hillard, and Jim Stanton started their musical journey after a failed pursuit of searching for a gay club that played what they wanted to dance to - disco music. Fast-forward 21 years and this quartet has evolved into a powerful force in queer and club culture. Their ever-evolving setlists and welcoming presence creates a “queer space for everyone”.

With residencies in New York, Berlin, and Lisbon, along with iconic sets on stages around the world, this group has held strong to one of the things that keeps them rooted to their authenticity - their weekly Sunday dance party at their London bedrock. This regular appearance serves as a pre and post-club Sunday lunch accompaniment where the group delves into some more soulful shades of their musical taste.These expertly curated sets have long been a key fixture of what makes Horse Meat Disco one of the most revered and adored acts on the international club circuit.

These master selectors have undeniable talent in mixing grooves that keep the dance floor jam packed. But besides their smooth moves behind the decks, in 2020 the group finally gave the fans what they had long been waiting for in the form of a 16-track album titled, “Love and Dancing”. This album was the culmination of seven years’ work, free of cover versions and samples. Released on Glitterbox Recordings, their first ever full-length album delivered nothing but original HMD productions, serving as proof that disco has a present and a future.
