LF SYSTEM, comprised of Conor Larkman and Sean Finnigan, is a Scottish electronic music duo that has transitioned from their origins in the Edinburgh club scene to global recognition within the dance music industry. Their unique sound blends elements of disco with modern house music, establishing them as a notable presence on the international stage.

Meeting while performing back-to-back sets at Edinburgh’s club night FLY, Larkman and Finnigan quickly recognized a shared musical vision, which spurred the formation of LF SYSTEM. Initially, they garnered attention with their SoundCloud edits, which creatively mixed classic disco with contemporary house beats. These early tracks served as a springboard, helping them build a grassroots following and laying the groundwork for their subsequent success.

Their major breakthrough came with the release of "Afraid to Feel," a rework of Silk’s 1979 track "I Can't Stop (Turning You On)." This single not only topped the UK charts, marking it as the first UK dance number one since 2020, but also received extensive airplay across top radio stations including BBC Radio 1. The track’s success exemplified their ability to connect with a wide audience, transforming it into an international summer anthem.

LF SYSTEM's adaptability and proficiency have also been showcased through their remixes for prominent artists such as Fatboy Slim and Carl Cox.
