Overview

Skepsis, a DJ and producer based in South London, is known for his upbeat, powerful and energetic sound that often fuses vocal samples with bass-heavy production. Skepsis has been the brains behind more than one runaway hit, including 2021’s “Freak,” produced in collaboration with TS7, 2018’s “With U,” a joint venture with FineArt, and 2020’s “Secure The Bag,” which also mined the creative mastermind of DJ/producer Flava D.

In 2021, Skepsis released his debut full length album, ‘Faith in Chaos,’ a whopping 15-track opus featuring collaborations with the likes of Window Kid, Emily Makis, Takura, Cajama, Kanine, and more. ‘Faith in Chaos’ has seen many subsequent remixes, including reimaginings of Skepsis’s seminal tracks by the likes of Disrupta, Axel Boy, Michael Sparks, NuBass, Tsuki, and more. Skepsis has also shared a slew of notable singles with fans, collaborating with the likes of Riddim Commission, Gabi’el, and more. As the remixer himself, Skepsis has lent his ear to tracks by the likes of Jauz, Kamakaze, DJ Fresh, Yizzy, and Dizzee Rascal.

Despite his heavy investment in and passion for the London-area dance music scene, Skepsis has performed in notable venues and at major festivals across the globe. His performances closer to home include appearances at festivals like Boundary Brighton Festival — where he shared the lineup with the likes of Skream, Ben Hemsley, and Patrick Topping — London’s We Are FSTVL — which also featured Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, and Deborah de Luca—as well as sets at the iconic Creamfields South, Forbidden Forest, and more, and at venues like London’s XOYO and Bristol’s Lakota and Motion. Skepsis has also performed on Ibiza at clubs like Eden and Amnesia, in Croatia at Hideout Fest, in Austria at Snowbombing 2019, and as a supporting act for Jauz on his 2018 Bite This! Tour which stopped at venues across the United States, Australia and more.
