Thursdays in Ibiza are for techno.

Afterlife has had a massive impact on the scene since its creation in 2016. Now in its third year of residency at Hï Ibiza, you can expect only the best in techno pumping through the night from midnight until 6 am. The team tends to showcase artists from the Afterlife Records label and promote up-and-coming talent.

Tale of Us will close the Theatre every week, but not before an incredible line-up of the world’s best techno and electronic music DJs precede them. For the July 14 edition, they will be joined by Stephan Bodzin (live) and Chris Avantgarde, whereas Dax J, ANNA, and Ae:ther will hold their own in the Club room. Don’t forget to check out the Wild Corner - quite possibly the most interesting unisex bathrooms in the world - where Øostil will bring his unique style.

What makes an Afterlife party different is the music and their ability to fully immerse you with their digital art installations, incredible light and laser shows, and of course, the iconic Afterlife insignia levitating above the dancefloor.

Theatre

Italian DJ and production duo Carmine Conte & Matteo Milleri, more commonly known as Tale of Us, met at a young age and made their electronic music debut in 2011 with “Dark Song” after moving to Berlin and starting to record together. Named one of DJ Mag’s top 100 alternative DJs in 2018, expect an emotional musical journey from this experimental duo.

Born in Germany, classically educated techno maestro Stephan Bodzin has been sharing his infectious energy as part of his live shows at festivals and clubs since 2005, creating tracks on the fly that will enthrall you and work your body.

Chris Avantgarde is a German DJ, producer, and record label owner who loves breaking the rules. Never conforming to a particular style, he deftly defies musical boundaries and experiments with sounds that cover the whole electronic music spectrum.

Club

London-born techno DJ Dax J grew up with a love of drum n bass and garage, influenced by Goldie and Andy C. After deciding to travel post-university, he discovered techno and instantly changed to what is now his signature sound.

With a new EP on Afterlife and a full roster of gigs worldwide, Brazilian-born ANNA is a hot ticket in 2022. With over two decades of experience and a bucket-load of passion, this in-demand DJ is one not to be missed.

Ae:ther has traveled and lived in cities all over the world which have all influenced his musical style. From Rome to Milan, London to Berlin, Ae:ther met and worked with artists such as Bicep, Mind Against, and Tale of Us.

Wild Corner

Øostil will provide melodic techno and a minimalist sound in the Wild Corner at Afterlife. He has previously performed alongside Artbat, Wurtz, and Red Axes, to name just a few.
