Amnesia Presents - Opening Party 2023
Ibiza, Spain
Event Recommendation
House music heroes return to Amnesia Ibiza for the 2nd season of Amnesia Presents. The return of Gorgon City, Sonny Fodera & Danny Howard at Amnesia has been the talk of the island since its confirmation earlier this year. After 2022’s explosive season, the trio return for the start of their 15-week residency on Monday, June 19. From 11pm through to 6am, you can dance to your favorite feel-good house tracks by some of the best DJs, producers, and selectors in the business. It’s the perfect way to start your week! In addition to this formidable trio, the talented Greta Levska will be joining as a new weekly resident, setting the tone each night with her warm-up sets. Lithuanian-born, London-raised, Amnesia resident DJ, Greta Levska is making a name for herself in 2023, with multiple weekly residencies under her belt for not only Amnesia Presents but also for Do Not Sleep at the same venue. Danny Howard is a British DJ, producer, and radio presenter who is well-known for his work with BBC Radio 1, where he hosts the Dance Party show (in replacement of Annie Mac) and has been instrumental in promoting new electronic music talent. He has also released tracks on several record labels, including his own Nothing Else Matters label, and has performed at numerous music festivals and clubs around the world. Gorgon City, an English electronic music production duo comprised of Kye "Foamo" Gibbon and Matt "RackNRuin" Robson-Scott, rose to prominence with their 2013 debut single "Real" and 2014 hit "Ready for Your Love”. Known for their collaborative approach, they have produced two studio albums, Sirens in 2014 and Escape in 2018, showcasing partnerships with artists like Clean Bandit, MNEK, and Wyclef Jean. Sonny Fodera is an Australian house music DJ and producer currently based in London, known for his vocal-driven, pop-forward tracks. He has showcased his versatility by merging four-on-the-floor bangers with EDM-flavored snare rolls and drops on his 2019 album Rise, and experimenting with pop styles on his 2021 album Wide Awake, with additional singles and a collaboration with Gorgon City released in 2022.
