Blue: Marco Faraone w. Seb Zito, Loofy & more

On September 29th, we proudly present another Blue show on the Roof of Superior Ingredients and are stoked to be hosting one of the most recognizable names in the industry. Marco Faraone, a stalwart in the music scene, has spent over 15 years honing his craft and delivering some of the most unbelievable performances and productions in techno and house music. Hailing from Lucca, Italy, Faraone's journey began on the underground dance floors of Tuscany, specifically at the legendary Tenax club in Florence, where he secured his first residency at the age of 23.

Faraone's rise in the music world is respected as he has the talent and ear to blend groove-led techno and house, avoiding the trend towards faster, more aggressive beats. His philosophy is simple yet profound: "Groove needs to be there. Techno isn't only bass and kick." This approach has earned him releases on top labels such as Drumcode, Rekids, Desolat, Defected, and his own influential imprint, UNCAGE.

His career highlights include performing at iconic venues like Fabric in London, Panorama Bar in Berlin, and Amnesia in Ibiza. These residencies and performances have solidified his reputation as one of the most consistently brilliant selectors in the industry. A standout moment in his career was his recent performance at Gashouder in Amsterdam for Awakenings, which showcased the roaring essence of his sound.

Faraone's discography is equally impressive, featuring nearly 100 chart-topping tracks. His album No Filter on Rekids pushed the boundaries of genre, blending techno and house with experimental elements. The ambient-leaning album HOPE, created with reporter Ian Urbina, further showcases his willingness to step out of his comfort zone and explore untouched territories.

Beyond his own productions, Faraone has made a significant impact through UNCAGE, his label that has become a platform for emerging talent. He takes pride in discovering and nurturing new voices in the music scene, listening to hundreds of demos weekly and signing artists from scratch.

Since relocating to Barcelona in 2018, Faraone has found a new home that nurtures his artistic growth. He speaks highly of the Spanish music scene, citing its legendary festivals and events. During the summers, he resides in Ibiza, continuing to perform at some of the island’s most iconic clubs, including Amnesia, which he praises for staying true to its roots.

Fuse resident, longtime DJ and producer, and owner of Seven Dials Records, Seb Zito will be joining the Blue fun. As a Fuse London & Ibiza resident and Infuse A&R, plus his releases on Off and Monique have made this artist a respectable name in this industry. His recent gigs include standout performances at Amnesia Ibiza, Adobe in Amsterdam, el row, and the KOKO Electronic party. Now he’s ready to bring some of the UK spunk to the Big Apple!

His real name is Joshua, but the music world knows him as Loofy. His hit track “Last Night,” released on the iconic NYC imprint Nervous Records, catapulted this rising star to new heights. Loofy has already played at some of the most renowned parties, including elrow, Day Trip LA, The Vanguard, and many others.

Growing up in Chicago, he was heavily influenced by hip-hop and R&B, which can be heard in his biggest hits, including the heavy-hitter "Time." His music has garnered support from industry heavyweights like Mau P, Tale of Us, Layton Giordani, Oscar G, John Summit, and more.

After moving to the UK, Loofy discovered his passion for electronic music, further shaping his sound. As he continues to make waves in the industry, Loofy is definitely an artist to keep an eye on.

At just 26, Max Stern has quickly risen as one of Miami’s hottest emerging artists. A regular at iconic spots like Club Space and Floyd, he's also made waves at renowned festivals and venues worldwide, sharing stages with top names in the industry.
