Born in Amsterdam but now based in Ibiza, Chelina Manuhutu is returning for another Gray Area show, this time at the hottest nightclub in Manhattan, Musica, on October 12th! Joining her for a doubleheader is Tom & Collins, the epic tech house duo from Mexico City, featured in DJ Mag’s Top 100 artists and boasting millions of streams across more than 170 countries. 

Raised in a family steeped in musical and artistic traditions, Chelina was immersed in music from a young age. After a decade-long career in high-level modeling, Chelina embraced her musical calling professionally in 2011. Her recent appearances at renowned events like ANTS Tulum, Music On NYE, elrow Peru, and the Sonus Festival have made her a buzzing name in the music industry. Her sets are always filled with energized rhythms of African and Latin drums.

Musica, located in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood along the Hudson River, is a three-story, 25,000-square-foot venue that was formerly home to Space Ibiza New York and FREQ. Musica New York is the creation of restaurateur Giuseppe Cipriani and Italian nightlife entrepreneur Tito Pinton. Originating from a sister club in Riccione, Italy, Musica offers top-tier production, an excellent sound system, and an enthusiastic crowd of house music lovers. Gray Area is pioneering the "Doubleheader" event series, drawing inspiration from back-to-back baseball games to showcase artists with similar styles but unique fan bases. By having one artist follow another and culminating in a collaborative back-to-back (B2B) set, Doubleheader aims to create a powerful platform for musical discovery and cross-pollination. Embracing the "B2B" spirit, the initiative seeks to introduce audiences to new sounds while strengthening the dance music ecosystem.
