Danny Avila w. Charles D & Guests
New York, New York
Overview
Danny Avila, the veteran DJ and producer known for his pioneering Mainstage Techno sound, is coming to the glamorous Manhattan nightclub co-owned by Giuseppe Cipriani on August 10th. Growing up in Marbella, Spain, Avila's obsession with DJing began early, leading him to start DJing at 12 and producing by 13. His big break came when Tiësto invited him to perform at Pacha in Ibiza, launching his international career.
Avila has achieved major success, including hundreds of millions of streams, three compilations for Ministry of Sound, Space Ibiza, and DJ Mag, and a residency in Las Vegas, making him the youngest artist to achieve such a feat. He has been featured in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs for seven consecutive years and has mentored the next generation of DJs and producers.
In 2021, Avila introduced Mainstage Techno at Tomorrowland's Around The World festival, combining his underground roots with a massive stage presence. His notable tracks include "Sagrada Familia," "Azteca," and "Pantheon," with support from major acts like Adam Beyer, Joris Voorn, Paco Osuna, and Richie Hawtin. His remix of John Summit’s "In Chicago" became a Beatport Techno #1 and one of Spotify’s Most Saved Tracks.
