Day two of the takeover shifts upward — literally — as Detroit Love takes over the roof at Superior Ingredients for a daytime gathering with an entirely different feel from the night before. Sunlight, skyline views, and long afternoon blends set the pace.

The Detroit figure behind the series has always emphasized range: raw club energy on one side, warm and open grooves on the other. Sunday brings that balance to life, offering a brighter setting shaped by his broad musical world and uncompromising artistic lens.

Moodymann plays the sunset slot, bringing his unmistakable Detroit presence to the rooftop. The rest of the lineup — still to be announced — will round out a show that leans into soul, swing, and daytime magic.

This edition celebrates the lighter side of Detroit Love: ease, connection, and the space to let the afternoon unfold on its own rhythm. As the second half of the weekend, it closes the takeover with a glow that stands apart from Saturday’s intensity.
