On Monday, September 18, the heartbeat of Ibiza's glorious past throbs once again as Funky Aura descends upon Akasha Ibiza for their penultimate party of the summer.
From 11pm through to 5am, you’ll be treated to the best track selections from island favorites David Morales and Willie Graff.

Back around 2010, everyone who was anyone on the island flocked to a quaint discoteca located on the San Joan road. Aura came alive on Friday nights when it was home to Dantz, a weekly bash orchestrated by three Ibiza long-time Ibiza residents: Hayden Trethewy, the club's manager; Danny Rose, the promotor; and the unforgettable Antz, an iconic Ibiza DJ whose legacy outshines his brief time on earth.
Free to enter, no guestlist, no VIP. It was a piece of Ibiza history that was once a haven for celebs such as James Blunt, Charlotte Tilbury, and Cara Delevingne.
At the beginning of the 2023 season, a decade after its doors sadly closed, the very essence of this iconic spot was reignited at none other than Akasha Ibiza.
Helmed by the visionary trio - Hayden Trethewey, Sunny Ramzan (Pikes), and Vaughan (Pacha Ibiza’s Funky Room) - this revival is more than just a party. It's a tribute to Ibiza's raw, uncommercialized spirit that has been somewhat overshadowed by commercialism and VIP in recent years.
Akasha Ibiza, emerging from significant renovations to Las Dalias in 2021, represents a unique fusion of community spirit and musical magnetism. The club champions a minimalist aesthetic with cutting-edge lighting and visuals, all underscored by an extraordinary sound system crafted using Fibonacci's auric maths and sacred geometry principles.

The lineup
Born in Ibiza, Willie Graff began his DJ career as a teen, swiftly rising to become the youngest resident DJ at the globally acclaimed club, Pacha Ibiza. Over the years, his unique blend of deep and moody house music resonated in esteemed clubs from Russia to Dubai, further solidifying his position when he moved to New York to helm the decks at the award-winning Cielo.
Alongside his DJing accomplishments, Graff has ventured into music production, notably collaborating with Nicolas Matar with his record release “Out Of Orbit”.
David Morales, an iconic American DJ and Grammy-winning producer, has left an indelible mark on the dance music scene, remixing over 500 tracks for superstars like Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, and Madonna.
A pioneering force in global dance music, Morales is celebrated for his work at legendary clubs, founding Def Mix Productions, and continuous evolution, always embracing new sounds and the next generation of club enthusiasts.
In January 2022, Morales released Life Is a Song, his first full-length studio album in almost 10 years.
