Overview

On September 9, progressive producer and mustache enthusiast du jour Luttrell returns to New York. His indie-laced house music and melodic techno has gained widespread support from industry titans like Moby, Tycho, Lane 8, and more.

Gray Area is proud to host this maestro of melody at our stunning new Manhattan home, Musica. Its alluring warehouse meets upscale club vibe sets the perfect tone for a night of dancing with the incomparable beats of the one-and-only Luttrell.

While his early musical influences include alternative rock and 90’s rave, a semester spent studying in Berlin unveiled the wonderful world of techno.

After a stint as one-half of OWLSA-signed The M Machine, he found a longstanding home with Above & Beyond’s Anjunadeep imprint. His earliest EPs for the deep house tastemaker established the California native as a promising new producer. Within his first two years as a solo artist, he had already supported Above & Beyond, Rüfüs du Sol, and Lane 8 on their US tours. His breakout track, “Twin Souls” from 2020, peaked at #10 on the Beatport charts.

In 2019, Luttrell released his expressive and mesmerizing debut album, Into Clouds. An early indication of his trademark dreamy soundscapes, it was also punctuated with a healthy dose of upfront club beats. In 2020 his second album, Lucky Ones, further solidified his ability to imbue the dancefloor with uplifting beauty and bliss. And just a year later, Music For My Memories and the companion EP Music For My Memories Pt.II distilled the musical magic that Luttrell casts at his gigs across the planet.

Luttrell has a pure talent for drawing listeners in and taking them on a journey of the senses. His sound and presence made for the big stage. And he’s certainly proved that through his performances at esteemed venues and festivals like Printworks, Coachella, Tomorrowland, Electric Forest, The Brooklyn Mirage, and as a co-headliner of the Anjunadeep Open Air tour.

Luttrell will be supported by New York DJ's Sleepy & Boo and Tommylogik along with a close-out performance by chart-topping Newman (I Love).

Newman (I Love) is a DJ & music producer/composer from New York in the United States, he has released on several labels such as TRYBESof & Do Not Sit On The Furniture, and he made is striking debut on Anjunabeats with Love Is Not Enough (Newman (I Love) Remix), a remix for the classic song by Above & Beyond & Zoë Johnston. He recently reached #1 on Beatport for his track "The Moon and the Stars" in Top 100 Organic House tracks and has an exciting tour ranging from Tulum, Spain, USA and Canada.

Sleepy & Boo are fixtures on the nightlife circuit in New York, , with regular appearances at Brooklyn’s celebrated Williamsburg Hotel, the Sultan Room, Times Square’s infamous Paradise Club, the Hard Rock Hotel’s RT-60, Daphne, Ciao Ciao and many more destinations. In addition to their headlining sets, the duo have played support sets for iconic DJs including Claude Vonstroke, Jody Wisternoff, Claptone, Guy J, Jeremy Olander, Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, Oscar G, ARTBAT, Cassian, the Crystal Method and more.

Emerging from the underground hip-hop scene, NYC producer & DJ Tommylogik honed his skills and developed a unique fusion of Dance, Melodic House, and Progressive House. His signature style blends various genres, resulting in an ethereal and energizing sonic landscape.

Musica (formerly Space Ibiza’s New York outpost) is a one-of-kind venue whose brick-walled design creates an underground, warehouse-like atmosphere, complete with LED screens and a state-of-the-art sound system.
