Mahmut Orhan & Guests [Sold Out]
Brooklyn, New York
Overview
Chart-topping Turkish DJ and producer Mahmut Orhan has been making waves overseas in Europe for the best part of a decade. Now he's selling out his debut weekend in New York two days in a row - the man is on fire. Originating from the foothills of Bursa, he’s become a name famed for frequently scaling the peaks of dance charts across countries such as Greece, Romania, and Serbia.
With a sound spanning all of indie dance, progressive house and electro pop, Orhan’s versatile productions have seen him perform at some of the world's leading electronic music festivals, such as Exit Festival in Serbia and Untold Festival in Romania.
At the age of 14 he began to teach himself how to play the piano. He thereafter learned to play guitar, bass guitar, and drums. Unique to his upbringing listening to a variety of music including traditional Turkish music, classic rock, jazz, and hip hop, he composes music that blend elements of electronic and ethnic music together, in order to create a sound no one else can.
Today, he has a plethora of releases with Sony-owned powerhouse label Ultra under his belt - an imprint that hosts the likes of Solardo, Hardwell, Black Coffee, deadmau5, Benny Benassi, Calvin Harris and more.
Most recently, Orhan joined forces with Florida pop duo SOFI TUKKER on their hit album ‘WET TENNIS’, contributing to the track ‘Forgive Me’. The album has been a major success globally, with the collaborative track showcasing Orhan’s ornate production skills. Additionally, Orhan’s remix of SOFI TUKKER’s popular track ‘Swing’ has garnered over 12 million streams across social media platforms.
Joining the party is Miami based Nuran. Nuran, a Miami-based artist, has seen his original tracks gain traction among top DJs such as Adriatique, Maceo Plex, and Paco Osuna. Recently, he's shared stages with notable names like Josh Butler and Miss Monique, marking his presence at Chicago's ARC Music Festival in 2023.
We're stoked to be welcoming back Phoenix based artist Cormac Beeler, who has been propelled toward unique experiential musical settings such as Bonnaroo, Burning Man, and elrow NYC.
We're also thrilled to welcome back HVNLEE. One of the pinnacles of HVNLEE's career was the unforgettable opportunity to perform at the Hulaween Music Festival on Lp Giobbi's Femme House stage.
It’s only a matter of time before he breaks waters across the pond, as his achievements so far have not gone unnoticed. With features in prestigious publications such as GQ Turkey, Billboard, and Dancing Astronaut, Orhan’s capabilities are limitless.
