Overview

Spanish duo MESTIZA bring their acclaimed SACRO event series to Under the K Bridge Park on September 18th, presented by Gray Area and Sonic Jungle, marking the next chapter in one of electronic music’s most talked-about cultural concepts. Created by Pitty Bernad and Belah, MESTIZA has built an international following through its fusion of flamenco, house, Afro house, and Spanish folklore, combining music, fashion, and visual storytelling into a singular club experience rooted in their Andalusian heritage. Joining the duo is French-native Apache (FR) and Swiss-artist Lohrasp Kansara.

What began in Madrid in 2021 quickly evolved into a global event platform, with SACRO hosting sold-out editions across Ibiza, Barcelona, Málaga, London, Miami, Dubai, and Tulum. The series has taken over venues including Cova Santa Ibiza, IFEMA Madrid, Poble Espanyol, and Brunch Electronik Madrid, with an upcoming collaboration alongside elrow at OFFSonar also in the works. Alongside the growth of SACRO, MESTIZA became the first female DJ duo to hold a residency at Hï Ibiza.

More than a traditional party, SACRO is designed as a full sensory experience. Flamenco dancers, live musicians, candlelit staging, and Spanish-inspired visual elements come together alongside deep percussion, melodic house, and flamenco instrumentation. The project reflects MESTIZA’s vision of bringing Spanish cultural roots into modern club spaces while creating something that resonates globally on the dance floor.

Joining MESTIZA for the SACRO show is Miami based DJ and producer Apache (FR), the artist behind the Soundtuary event series. His sound centers on deep percussion and organic textures, with influences that connect his Caribbean background to house music from around the world. His breakout track “Nothing On Me” surpassed 10 million streams and reached number one on Beatport, earning support from Keinemusik, Black Coffee, Diplo, Adriatique, and Swedish House Mafia.

Apache has shared stages with Black Coffee, Bedouin, Damian Lazarus, Guy Gerber, and BLOND, with appearances at Pacha Ibiza, Hï Ibiza, Nordstern, Superior Ingredients, and Jungle Island in Miami. He has also previously joined MESTIZA at Hï Ibiza, making his addition to SACRO a natural fit.

Also joining MESTIZA for the SACRO show is Lohrasp Kansara, a Geneva born, New York based DJ and producer whose career has taken him to more than 60 countries and over 6,000 performances worldwide. His sets move primarily through Afro house and tech house, and he has shared lineups with artists including Kaskade, Afrojack, MORTEN, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Pablo Fierro, Kryder, and Erick Morillo.

The setting for the New York edition adds another layer to the experience. Located beneath the towering columns of the Kosciuszko Bridge, Under the K Bridge Park has become one of Brooklyn’s most striking open-air cultural spaces. Built on a once-abandoned industrial site along Newtown Creek, the seven-acre park reimagines urban infrastructure as a gathering space for music, art, and community.

Designed by landscape architecture firm PUBLIC WORK, the venue combines raw industrial architecture with expansive open-air sections, dramatic lighting installations, and green spaces filled with thousands of native plants and trees. Its scale, atmosphere, and underground character make it a fitting backdrop for SACRO’s immersive world.

On September 18, SACRO arrives in Brooklyn with the same spirit that has carried it from Ibiza to Tulum and beyond. It will bring together flamenco heritage, global house music, and contemporary club culture beneath one of New York City’s most visually striking urban spaces.
