We’re thrilled to invite you to the eighth edition of Ocaso Festival, a truly immersive celebration of electronic dance music set against the stunning beauty of Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. From January 31 to February 1, 2025, escape to a tropical paradise where music, nature, and community come together in a special and unforgettable way.

Nestled just miles from the vibrant town of Jaco, with the serene beaches and lush landscapes of Guanacaste as its backdrop, Ocaso is more than a music festival and a transformative getaway. Attendees can dance under open skies, unwind by the beach, and soak up the magic of Costa Rica’s natural wonders, including day trips to Manuel Antonio’s beautiful coastlines and La Fortuna’s waterfalls. Whether you're here for the music, the adventure, or the beauty of the surroundings, Ocaso offers an intimate experience that feels both exciting and welcoming.

Somebody (2024)

This year’s Ocaso lineup features some of the most exciting names in dance music, blending international headliners, rising stars, and local Costa Rican talent, including several artists who are part of the Gray Area family. At the top of the bill are Black Book Records label boss Chris Lake, renowned for his genre-defining sounds, and underground trailblazers The Martinez Brothers, who will be making their Central American debut. Adding to the excitement is Brazilian selector Vintage Culture, whose mesmerizing style promises a memorable headlining performance.

The lineup will also host a range of styles, from the dynamic techno rhythms of Kasablanca to the Afrohouse influence of Maz. Rising house star Riordan and Space Miami resident DJ Layla Benitez add their own distinct voices, creating a well-rounded lineup that’s sure to blow away every electronic music lover. Alongside these international acts, a talented group of Costa Rican artists, including Desostoa, Diana Vasquez, Doozie, and more, will showcase the region's vibrant energy and passion for music.

With over half the lineup dedicated to Central American talent, Ocaso shines a light on the region’s growing music scene, blending global artistry with the homegrown creativity that makes this festival truly unique.

Nothing On Me

Ocaso is about more than just incredible music and a space that feels like a second home, a gathering that values connection and freedom of expression. Here, you’ll find an atmosphere that welcomes everyone, built on a shared love for music and Costa Rica’s vibrant culture. Whether you're an experienced festival-goer or new to the scene, Ocaso offers a sense of intimacy and community that’s hard to find anywhere else.

A celebration of music, nature, and human connection.

Ocaso is more than a festival—it's a pilgrimage. Set against the lush backdrop of Costa Rica's Pacific coast, we bring together world-class electronic music, immersive art installations, and a community of like-minded souls.

Ocaso Festival

Ocaso Festival has grown remarkably since its beginnings in 2017, when it launched as an intimate gathering of 800-900 people in Tamarindo. Originally attracting fans of underground music with artists like Claptone, Art Department, Jamie Jones, and Loco Dice, Ocaso has evolved into a must-attend event that continues to bring top-tier talent from around the world. In recent years, headliners such as Michael Bibi, Solomun, Bob Moses, Dixon, and Damian Lazarus have joined the lineup, helping to cement Ocaso’s reputation as a destination for both cutting-edge music and a tightly-knit community experience.

Despite its growth, Ocaso has preserved its boutique size and personal feel by capping attendance to foster a family-like atmosphere. This careful balance allows the festival to draw a blend of adventurous global travelers and local Costa Rican fans, creating a standout vibe that stands out among other regional festivals.

In addition to incredible performances, the festival offers VIP perks for those looking to elevate their experience, with exclusive viewing areas, faster entry, private bars, and more, ensuring each moment feels truly special. And Ocaso doesn’t end when the last beat drops—attendees can extend their adventure with curated excursions to some of Costa Rica’s most breathtaking destinations. Festival-goers can visit the Arenal Volcano, relax in natural hot springs, or explore the wonders of Corcovado National Park. Options for ATV rides, catamaran cruises, and crocodile tours ensure there’s something for everyone to round out an unforgettable experience.

Ocaso is also about giving back. Through their Beach Cleanup Program, organized with The Clean Wave, attendees can volunteer to help keep Costa Rica’s beaches pristine by working alongside locals to collect waste and recyclables. Last year, the Ocaso community collected nearly 100 kilos of waste—a meaningful step toward preserving the region’s natural beauty.

If you’re ready to join us for a one-of-a-kind escape filled with music, stunning natural surroundings, and community connection, grab your tickets now at
