Patrice Bäumel Open Air with Gardenstate, Amiti and Palazzo

On June 23, Amsterdam-based producer and DJ Patrice Bäumel brings his ethereal and entrancing melodic techno sound to The Roof of Superior Ingredients. As we celebrate the solstice, the magic of Bäumel's winding selections, and the fabulous progressive sounds of gardenstate and Amiti, will provide the sonic canvas to paint a picture-perfect sunset after an extended summer day.

Bäumel has molded a storied dance music career spanning nearly two decades. Celebrated for music that's as intelligent and emotional as it is groove-inducing and dancefloor-forward, his reputation for crafting chart-topping hits has earned him releases on lauded labels like Afterlife, Global Underground, Bedrock, Anjunadeep, and Kompact. The son of a music journalist, he was always enamored with alternative and eclectic sounds. He never intended to make a career in music. But a fierce love for the dance music scene, his deliciously strange 2008 release "Roar" becoming an Ibiza anthem, and a residency at Amsterdam's (now shuttered) legendary club Trouw transformed him into an international sensation.

Patrice is just as thoughtful and introspective as his music. These personality traits help inform a uniquely reflective sound focused on expanding the possibilities of performance and production. He's come to realize his humble role as a creator is to unify the dancefloor with joyous experiences while exposing fans and followers to the thrill of radical sonic art.

He's set to make a rare appearance in New York for a summer season opener at the iconic 74 Wythe Avenue, Superior Ingredients (formerly Output). The venue has played a prominent role in reimagining and revitalizing the neighborhood's burgeoning dance music scene. It blends the best elements of premium hospitality, intimate nightlife experiences, and mega-club culture. Superior Ingredients is a preeminent domestic dance music destination.

Progressive and melodic mastermind gardenstate joins Patrice on support duties. The New Jersey native is a regular on Anjunabeats and is an appropriate pairing as Patrice pulled remix duties for the massive gardenstate hit "The Best Part" in 2021. Gardenstate's history with the New York club scene is thick. He's worked at legendary institutions like Crobar and Cielo and brought his "deep psychadelic progressive melodic" to venues worldwide, including Red Rocks, The Brooklyn Mirage, and Avalon LA.

We've also secured the electrifying Brooklyn duo Amiti to set the tone for a fabulous night of soaring melodics and deep thumping beats. David Soto and Mateo Restrepo came together in 2016 to create a musical partnership celebrating their friendship, Colombian heritage, and love for melodic techno. Both budding event producers have also become fiercely embedded in the production game releasing Beatport charters that Kevin de Vries, Soel, Undercatt, øostil, and Fideles have supported.
