Solid Grooves

UK house and techno label Solid Grooves have got a new home in Ibiza for the 2022 season, at none other than Ibiza’s original underground club DC-10. With the party’s original location Privilege not opening this summer, Solid Grooves needed a new spot to party. Now, the 17-week residency will take place at one of the best-known clubs on the planet, made famous by the hedonistic after-hours sessions of the original Monday daytime session Circo Loco. We’re not really sure why Solid Grooves at DC-10 hasn’t been a thing in the past, but we are certainly happy that it is now. 2022 is bringing a lot of changes to the Ibiza scene, including adding more parties to DC-10’s weekly schedule. Historically the club has hosted only two events per week, but for the 2022 season, they’ll be offering five nights of heaven at the end of the airport runway. Running from 11 pm to 7 am on the June 16, Solid Grooves will be offering its well-known mix of tech and minimal house to its cult following, with a strong lineup made up of Michael Bibi, PAWSA, Ben Rau, Butch, Darius Syrossian, Just2, Neverdogs, Reelow, and The Ghost. An established member of the underground music scene, London-based Michael Bibi is a DJ and producer that exudes quality. His passion for music started in his younger teenage years. He won Best Tech House DJ at the 2019 DJ Awards and head of Solid Grooves Records. House and techno DJ PAWSA co-founded Solid Grooves Records alongside Michael Bibi and brings his unique sounds to the club night of the same name. He is an expert at controlling the crowd and guiding them on a journey with his tech-house sounds. Berlin-born Ben Rau grew up surrounded by club culture before he became a DJ himself. Starting off on the dance floors of East London and Berlin, he knows how important it is for the crowd to be fully immersed and brings that to his performances and production. Bülent Gürler AKA Butch manages to please house-heads, techno-heads and deep bass lovers alike with his ability to flow through genres and keep the crowd alive. Butch has held residencies in Sankeys Ibiza, Robert Johnson in Offenbach, Germany, and has graced the stages at festivals and clubs across the world, including DC-10. Darius Syrossian has made a name for himself as a leader in the house and techno scene. As a DJ, producer, label owner, and radio host, there are not many that don’t know his name. Most Ibiza clubs have had the pleasure of having Syrossian behind the decks including Space (now Hï Ibiza), Amnesia, Sankeys (now Octan), and of course DC-10 Romanian DJ and producer JUST2 started out at the age of 17 and within a year had releases on well-known labels such as Kote Records and K9 Records. He’s well known for his mammoth energetic sets but also for his productions in the studio. Tommy Paone and Marco De Gregorio both started their careers in the electronic music scene separately, but came together in 2000 to make up what is now known as Neverdogs. First making their name on the White Isle with Marco Carola’s Music On back in 2012, their popularity skyrocketed and they can now be seen playing all of the major clubs and electronic music festivals around the world. Hungarian-born, Barcelona-based DJ and producer Reelow finds himself supported by some of the biggest names in the business, including Loco Dice, Adam Beyer, and Marco Carola. His heavy-hitting dancefloor selections will keep you moving all night long.
