This spring, returns to New York for a special outdoor edition in the heart of Ridgewood at H0L0 Yard. Helmed by Italian minimal tech powerhouse Yaya, Tamango has built a reputation as one of the most respected underground imprints in the scene.

Born in Turin with African roots, Yaya grew up immersed in rhythm, guided by his father—lead vocalist and percussionist of the M’bamina ensemble. That early exposure shaped a style that blends Afro-Latin percussion, dubby textures, and sleek tech house. A longtime affiliate of Loco Dice's Desolat, Yaya has become a trusted selector at institutions like DC10, Watergate, and Amnesia Ibiza. His productions have landed on key labels like Cuttin’ Headz, Hottrax, and of course, his own Tamango Records, where he curates some of the finest minimal-leaning grooves in circulation.

Tamango has featured releases from genre staples like Cuartero, Rich NxT, Alexis Cabrera, and Manda Moor—further cementing its place among top-tier underground house labels.
