The founder of Tech Afrique and a pioneer in the Afro House scene, Eli Fola is celebrated for creating Yoruba Tech Soul, a fusion of AfroHouse, techno, jazz, and classical music. Known for his breathtaking performances, Eli has played at major cultural events like Art Basel and Burning Man, alongside Grammy-winning icons Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys. He has also shared the stage with major artists such as ASAP Rocky and Busta Rhymes, and performed alongside afro house music icons like Black Coffee, Pablo Fierro, and Audiofly. His sets, often accompanied by live saxophone, delve into the depths of Afro-centric sounds, creating an immersive experience that has thrilled crowds worldwide.
London-based DJ, producer, and founder of MahabaMusik, a sub-label of Defected Records, Kitty Amor is a leading force in African and African-influenced dance music. Her performances at iconic venues such as fabric, Printworks, Sub Club, Ministry of Sound, Eden, Brixton Academy, Hï Ibiza, Watergate, and The Warehouse Project, as well as festivals like Tomorrowland CORE Tulum, Defected London, and Waterworks, are redefining Afro House for a global audience. Known for her uplifting, deep sounds and her residency at Bora Bora in Ibiza, Kitty has dedicated her career to uniting dance floors across cultures.
Her sets for BBC Radio 1, Mixmag Lab, DJ Mag HQ, Triple J, Apple Music, and Resident Advisor, along with a live set on Channel O in South Africa, have further expanded her reach, connecting her to a growing audience of afro house music fans worldwide. Beyond her DJ sets and productions, Kitty is also a prominent columnist for DJ Mag, where she writes on Afro House, amplifying the scene and giving voice to the culture she champions.
Zambian-born and London-based, KILIMANJARO’s sets are a fierce blend of Afro, Amapiano, and tribal house, drawing from his rock and electronic background. His Boiler Room set, personally invited by Fred Again, amassed over 1.5 million views, marking him as an artist to watch. With appearances at iconic festivals like Glastonbury, Parklife, and Ibiza’s DC-10, KILIMANJARO’s sound is a celebration of percussion and rhythm, always delivering high-energy beats that bring crowds to life.
