KILIMANJARO

KILIMANJARO is a Zambian-born, London-based DJ and producer whose music seamlessly blends Afro, Amapiano, and tribal house with influences from his background in rock and dance music. From an early age, KILIMANJARO found rhythm as a central element of his artistry, beginning as a drummer before transitioning into the world of DJing and music production. This foundation continues to inform the driving percussion and high-energy grooves that define his sets today.

Having honed his craft on the Scottish DJ circuit in cities like Glasgow and Edinburgh, KILIMANJARO later relocated to London to immerse himself in one of the world’s leading hubs of dance music. His dedication to honing his sound led him to play small but influential shows, gradually building a loyal following and establishing himself within the city’s vibrant underground scene.

In 2021, KILIMANJARO launched his own music and event platform, KILIMANJARO MUSIC, debuting at La Cheetah in Glasgow. The platform focuses on elevating Black, POC, and marginalized voices within electronic music, showcasing talent that reflects the diverse cultural roots and influences of the genre.

KILIMANJARO’s sound reflects his eclectic influences, with nods to the energy of Afro-centric rhythms and the melodic depth of Amapiano. His performances have earned him recognition on some of Europe’s biggest stages, including appearances at Glastonbury, Parklife, and Ibiza’s DC-10. A notable highlight of his career was his Boiler Room set, personally invited by Fred again.., which has amassed over 1.5 million views and introduced his sound to a global audience.

Beyond the decks, KILIMANJARO continues to explore new territories as he prepares for the release of his first solo EP, which he describes as a reflection of his journey through underground rave culture and his Zambian heritage. The project incorporates powerful drums, layered melodies, and vocals to create a sound that is both deeply personal and globally resonant.
