Andrea Oliva and Chelina Manuhutu join forces for one of the most exciting Electric Zoo Afterparties of the weekend at Quantum Brooklyn!
Dutch-born Chelina Manuhutu brings with her the influence of a musical family. Her father was part of the Latin funk band Massada. Her chunky tech-house is full of stuttering percussion, brilliantly funky basslines, and the bubbling effervescence of a summer-time pool party.
Born in Switzerland, Oliva taught himself to DJ at the tender age of 13. The young DJ found a job in a record shop and quickly established himself as a skilled selector, building a carefully curated library of promos and white labels. It wasn't long before he was booked in Switzerland's best clubs and throwing his legendary sold-out Banditz parties.
He's since become a staple of the Ibiza scene cemented by residencies with elrow at Amnesia, Music On at Amnesia, and ANTS at Ushuaïa. His lauded production skills have seen him on remix duties like Luciano and releasing club weapons on Defected, Moon Harbour, Relief, Hot Creations, and 7Wallace.
UK-born Bontan has been tearing up dancefloors with his slinky brand of grooving tech house since he dropped his remix of Josh Butler's "Got A Feeling." His early success led to an avalanche of releases on the most coveted underground imprints. How Since 82's Knee Deep in Sound, Defected, Yousef's Circus Recordings, and Jaime Jones' Hot Creations have been frequent supporters of Bontan's tribal-infused, low-end rocking beats.
He began DJing at the tender age of 14 and spent years cutting his teeth in the Liverpool, UK scene. After a breakthrough set for Creamfields, he burst onto the international festival and club circuit and has since slayed dancefloors from Amnesia, Ibiza to CRSSD Festival and elrow.
