German DJ, producer, and composer, Ben Böhmer, is bringing his extraordinary show to Cova Santa for four unique dates this summer, starting with the opening party on Monday, June 13th. The Portraet series is named after the abstract hidden faces that Böhmer uses on his release artwork, which lends itself perfectly to the series of events at the Amnesia-owned San José gastro club. You can expect an inspiring showcase of the different aspects of his performances as an artist, producer, and composer. Each of the four nights will see Ben Böhmer at the helm. First, with his signature live performance in the outdoor space, followed by a DJ set inside Cova Santa. On June 13th, he will be joined by special guests, Elkka and Penelope. Cova Santa is the perfect location to watch an artist at work. Böhmer will bring his highly personalized, unique, and improvised live show to the glorious multi-leveled venue. German-born Ben Böhmer exploded onto the scene with his incredible 2019 debut album Breathing. Since, he’s continued to ascend. His breathtaking livestream for Cercle in a hot air balloon above the Turkish desert capped off a string of well-received releases on Anjunadeep and Future Classic. In 2020, Boris Brejcha lauded Ben as his Breakthrough Artist of 2020. London-based DJ and producer Elkka began her path as a singer-songwriter and has evolved to incorporate a multi-talented approach to her music. A maven of many genres, expect a mix of house, electronica, percussive beats, and dreamy vocals. Penelope’s reputation for moving crowds is well established. A resident DJ for leading electronic imprint Anjunadeep, she’s also rocked the decks at UK powerhouses like Printworks, Warehouse Project, and Motion. Welcoming her to Ibiza is the perfect next step.
