Classmatic & Guests
Brooklyn, New York
Overview
Get ready, Brooklyn! On February 9, 2025, the one and only Classmatic is set to take over the roof at Superior Ingredients. Known for his signature Latin-inspired grooves and minimalist tech house vibe, this Brazilian sensation is primed to throw down a set for a night of proper beats and magnetic energy that’ll make this one of the best shows of the season.
Classmatic, born Frederico Farias in Tubarão, Brazil, is no stranger to the international house music scene. Over the years, he has steadily built his name through sheer talent, solid releases, and standout performances worldwide. His big break came in 2022 with the track “Toma Dale,” a summer anthem in Ibiza, released on Jamie Jones’ renowned Hot Creations label. This hit, created in collaboration with Nfasis, threw Classmatic into the spotlight, leading to more major bookings and releases that brought his unique sound to new audiences.
Since then, he’s appeared at some of the most iconic clubs and festivals around the globe. From rocking the decks at EDC Las Vegas, Space Miami, and Hï Ibiza, to creating special moments at Warung Beach Club and Club Vibe, Classmatic has brought his talents to some of the most respected venues in house music. Fans have also seen him take the stage with artists like Paco Osuna, The Martinez Brothers, Ben Sterling, Beltran, and Seth Troxler, as he continues to shape his own path in the tech house scene.
Classmatic’s discography is equally impressive. With almost 70 releases to his name, he’s had massive tracks like “El Primer Corazón” via Revival New York, a hit that quickly became his top-streamed song on Spotify, “Catuca” on Cuttin' Headz, and a well-loved remix of Cloonee’s “Sun Goes Down.” His music has appeared on prominent labels such as Toolroom, Hottrax, Deeperfect, elrow, and Solid Grooves, where he’s also collaborated with the team on several tracks that have become crowd favorites. His beats are marked by a Latin twist that injects an unmistakable flavor into his sets, giving his tech house grooves a vibe all their own.
Joining Classmatic on the rooftop are some standout names in the scene. Ale De Tuglie, from Bari, Italy, has earned his place in house music after touring with Marco Carola and performing at iconic venues like Ushuaïa Ibiza and Soho Garden DXB.
New Jersey native OLAF, known for his Latin-infused sound, has shared stages with Gordo, Melé, and Shiba San. At 29, he launched his label FREQFEED and recently played Elements Music & Arts Festival. Joining him for a back-to-back set is Gray Area regular Medina, who has performed alongside De La Swing, Iglesias, and Paco Osuna.
February’s show at Superior Ingredients promises exactly that. The rooftop venue, with its retractable-glass layout and sweeping views of Manhattan, offers the perfect setting for Classmatic to showcase his sound under the night sky. Fans can expect an intimate yet an energy-fueled night, packed with fresh grooves and a few surprises as he drops his latest tracks.
Whether you’re a long-time follower or new to Classmatic’s sound, this is a night you won’t want to miss. Get your tickets soon – this one is set to be a packed house!
