Spanish DJ/producer Paco Osuna was born in Barcelona. In 1994, when he was 20, Paco began performing in Valencia, quickly becoming one of the most exciting new DJs in Spain. Now with over 25 years of experience and his own sophisticated, dynamic take on pure techno, Paco has become one of the most renowned artists in the industry.
Paco became the liaison, in 2005, between his record label Mindshake and the host of high-class artists that it hosts. Over the years, Mindshake has become one of the most important techno labels in the US and Europe. The imprints has hosted artists like Cuartero, Carlo Lio, Fer BR, Nick Curly and Paul Ritch. The label also throws showcases around the world, bringing Paco’s next-level selector skills to new levels of fan outreach.
The next year, Paco felt an itch to give his growing roster of DJs a home. Alongside his buddies and fellow musicians Marco Carola, Adam Beyer, and Christian Smith, he opened Club4 in Barcelona. The club became the reigning techno playground for locals and visitors alike. After “12 years of madness,” Club4 played its last session with Paco and Marco Carola in 2018.
Even without his own club to run, Paco stayed busy. From 2012 to 2014 he was a regular for Richie Hawtin’s ENTER residency at Space Ibiza and the world-traveling tour by the same name. He had similar success with residencies at Amnesia Ibiza and STORY in Miami.
In 2022, it was announced that Paco would return to house music’s favorite party island for his new residency, NOW HERE at HI Ibiza’s Club Room. It was an honor bestowed to him after he played the club’s opening night, closing down both rooms with two separate sets. It’s apparent that Paco can’t stay away from the thrill of live DJing and the vibrancy of the dancefloor, and why would he? We certainly don’t want him to.
