Prepping your winter party schedule yet? Get ready for a modern British invasion of the tech house variety with Cloonee at Quantum. The UK DJ and producer also known as Dave Bissett will bring his infectious music to the Big Apple on November 11.
Cloonee dropped his first EP on elrow Music just five years ago, and it quickly entered the Beatport tech house top 10. He followed it up with a second EP on Red Lunar Records. Support from the scene’s veterans has propelled Cloonee’s career with subsequent releases on labels like Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars, Apollo 84’s Twisted Fusion, and Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves.
Cloonee also hit the number one spot on Beatport with his track “Be Good to Me,” and his single “How We Go Down” was selected for Cr2 Records’ elrow Vol. 1 and Ibiza Closing Party 2017 compilations. Cloonee has also recently launched his own label called Hellbent Records with “Tripasia” alongside Brisotti, a track that’s available for streaming or purchase on all platforms.
While a wiz in the studio with a sound described by EARMILK as "no-nonsense tech house,” Cloonee wows in real life as well. His previous residencies include The Tuesday Club and Tank in his native Sheffield, England, where he shared the stage with Eats Everything, Mark Knight, and Solardo. He’s also dropped his spicy tech house beats at Hï Ibiza, numerous UK nightclubs, EDC Las Vegas, and elrow, as well as countless clubs and festivals around the world.
